Thank you for considering brain donation and for planning in advance! Brain Support Network (BSN) and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC) are partners in the ALLFTD Study. All costs for the brain donation are paid by UNC. All arrangements for the brain donation are made by BSN.
Coping with neurological decline and end of life are not easy, but making plans in advance is so much easier than waiting until the last-minute when stress is sky-high.
Note that brain donation is still possible at this time despite COVID-19.
You’ll need to select a funeral home or cremation organization before we can complete arrangements for a donation. In some major cities, we can suggest a cooperative, cost-effective organization.
